Thrilling Thursday Roll Call

Good morning all - there really is NOTHING thrilling about this Thursday - but I can't ever just leave it alone! :)

I am at school.  Students are here and quiet....ahhhhhh BLISS!  Larry and I decided that we are going to Aruba this summer.  Friends of ours have a time share and want us to come with them for an adult only vacation!  They will be celebrating their 15th wedding anniversary this May and Larry and I are celebrating our 20th this August.  I was so excited when they asked us last night.   I have never been and we were trying to figure out what to do.  It is so nice that we will not have to pay for lodging.  So excited! :)

So today is nothing special  School, home to change, then to run week 3, day 2 of C25k.  I did a great job on Tuesday getting through it - pertty impressed with myself and my running partner.  Then home tonight to make dinner and relax.  Larry is working overtime today relatively far from home, so he might not be bac****il after 9.  And on a totally TMI issue, if I don't get my period soon, I may eat ALL the food that is on this earth....ugh! :)

Steffi, I hope you read my reply to your post yesterday...I think you will be even more impressed! Just sayin!!! I think I may be going to the reunion, have to see how money looks! I better look at our yearbook since I probably won't remember anyone without seeing their HS picture first! My memories of HS have faded, which in some ways is a good thing!!

Anyway, today is wor****il 3:40, since we have a professional development meeting after school today...YIPPEE!!! Then home to relax, make dinner, do homework, bath and bed. Not too much on the agenda today other than that!!

 I'll give you something thrilling.. today is my 3 year surgiversary!!! woo hooo!!!!

I'll write up some thoughtful post later when my brain isn't so fried from work, but I am certainly remembering where I came from today.  

Working both jobs to celebrate.. lol.. actually, I probably could not have managed to work such long days before.  I would have been too tired. 

So, nothing else to say right now.  I'll post tonight when I come up with something clever about my 3 years. 

Hi everyone. I can't believe I missed my FOUR YEAR surgiversary in February 18th!! And while I've had a bit of a weight gain from my lowest weight post-op I have managed to keep off over 140 lbs lost! I'll take that any day of the week and still hold out hope tha I can shed the pounds that found their way back to me.

Last night we met with the couple buying our house and signed the official documents - our settlement date is April 25th - our hope is to load the truck on Monday and get my brother on the road with it and then we'll go to closing and meet him in Florida. We still have some things to work out but April 20th will be our last day on our jobs. Now it seems like it's happening really fast and I need to keep packing and tossing and donating. Lots to do!!

Steffi I've never been to Aruba but hear it's beautiful - happy anniversary and have a great time!!
